Crazy Spot - NEW!

Large and adventurous as the Ilha do Guajiru really is, recently, May 2010, a brandnew spot has been discovered by Falk Fuhrmann, of the Tourist Office!

During a new downwinder as organised by him for some adventurous kiters, running from upwind Almofala to downwind Ilha do Guajiru, he noticed a spot, where waves start hitting and crossing you from 2, 45 Degrees!, different directions!

The spot, given birth and named by Falk as the Crazy Spot, is a real challenge to experienced kiters and (wind-)surfers.

It's almost halfway while you do the downwinder, at the entrance of another rivermouth, where you will come accross of it.

"You can't believe what you see and feel, it's pretty hard sailing there, you don't have time almost to see which wave starts hitting you from where" were his own words after it.

"It really super to have 2 years later after the discovery of the island now this Crazy Spot..."
